Wir alle kennen “Industrie 4.0”, ein Begriff der in Deutschland kreiert (Acatech 2013, und dann weltweit genutzt wurde. Die Entwicklungen sind allerdings damit nicht abgeschlossen, sodass es Sinn macht, weiterzudenken. Genau das hat die Europäische Union in verschiedenen Forschungsbereichen unterstützt. Herausgekommen sind unterschiedliche Dimensionen wie “Society 5.0” oder auch “Industry 5.0”. Das Konzept “Society 5.0” wurde von “Keidanren, Japan’s most important business federation, in 2016” präsentiert (ebd. S. 9). Ich möchte an dieser Stelle auf die Definition von “Industry 5.0” eingehen.
“Industry 5.0 recognises the power of industry to achieve societal goals beyond jobs and growth to become a resilient provider of prosperity, by making production respect the boundaries of our planet and placing the wellbeing of the industry worker at the centre of the production process” (European Commission 2021:14).
Dabei wird herausgestellt, dass es folgende drei Schwerpunkte gibt: Human-centric, Resilent, Sustainable. Es lohnt sich, die Veröffentlichung(en) zum Thema zu lesen. Weiterhin wird es spannend sein zu beobachten, wie wir Technologie für die Bürger der Europäischen Union nutzen werden.

My name is Michael Rada, I am the Founder of INDUSTRY 5.0 and implement its principles in companies and businesses since 2013 already, leading a global network in 111 countries.
The EUROPEAN COMMISSION publication, you refer to, refers among others to my work INDUSTRY 5.0 DEFINITION by Michael Rada published already on February 3, 2017. Despite doing so, the EC uses just the term but changed intentionally the content, which results in a sales tool for machines and technology not sold under the term INDUSTRY 4.0 (introduced by SIEMENS in 2011, but launched officially in 2013).
