Die ECLO ist eine Non-Profit-Organisation mit Sitz in Belgien, die sich mit Themen der Lernenden Organisation befasst. Lernende Organisation und Wissensmanagement sind zwei Seiten einer Medaille: Lernen ist der Prozess, Wissen das Ergebnis (nach Willke). Was mir besonders gefällt ist, dass man die Lernende Organisation aus einer Europäischen Perspektive (Europäischer Kontext) betrachtet: “One of the key aspects of the network is its European nature. Europe has a number of different cultural, institutional and historic factors that generate differences, which are a tremendously rich source of ideas and practices.” Die nächste (14.) Konferenz der ECLO findet vom 30.05.-01.06.2007 in Glasgow unter folgender Überschrift statt: “Learning Organisations in the 21st Century: Reflecting, Refining and Reshaping an Essential Strategy“.
